Emily Bett Rickards born July 24, 1991, is an Canadian actor, best known for portraying Felicity Smoak on The CW television series Arrow. Rickards was born and raised to British Columbia. Beginning on her career path at a young age, she introduced herself to musical theatre and dance, with the hope of later becoming more involved in acting. Following her early graduation from high school, she attended Vancouver Film School and completed acting essentials. After she completed the program it was time to attend an audition for open casting and was accepted. She was a student at the Alida Vocal Studio in Vancouver.
